Reliable Sources for Learning About COVID-19 and All Other Things Health

Learn From the Pros

The “Information Age” has certainly made it easier for people to find the answers to their burning questions…unfortunately, it has also created a forum for massive misinformation.
Especially during times like these, it is crucial that you tune out the hype and listen to the experts. We have compiled a list of resources that we trust, and we hope that you do, too.

Functional Medicine and Podcasts

While we trust the science in the above government resources for learning more about the COVID-19 coronavirus itself, we promote a functional/integrative approach to nutrition and lifestyle for optimizing health and strengthening the immune system. At this time, there is no drug, cure or vaccine…but we are aware of things that have been helpful for other viruses and can support a healthy immune function.

The podcasts that we have linked below are some that we like to listen to for fun, but they have some great information – even before this virus – about hormones, healthy living, sleep, etc. These are things that we have been recommending all along! Here are a few of our favorite sources:

David Perlmutter, MD, FACN – A board-certified neurologist and fellow, and member of the Board of Directors of the American College of Nutrition. He is the author of “Grain Brain” and “Brain Wash” and does a Facebook live video on his page every day at 5 pm specifically about the coronavirus.

Ben Greenfield Everything You Need To Know For Antivirus & Immune System Enhancement: A Special One-Two Podcast Episode With Dr. Matt Cook, Dr. Matt Dawson, & Dr. Michael Mallin P.S. The last 20 minutes are the best.

Super Human Radio The Pep Talk: Peptide Protocols To Protect Against and Treat COVID-19 This is a treatment we offer and will be providing additional information in a future newsletter, so stay tuned!

Chris Kresser, DC – Everything You Need to Know About Coronavirus, with Dr. Ramzi Asfour (board certified in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine)

Peter Attia, MD – #97 – Peter Hotez, M.D., Ph.D.: COVID-19: transmissibility, vaccines, risk reduction, and treatment There are other recent episodes concerning COVID-19, as well.

Facts, Not Fiction
