Amlexanox / TTA Weight Loss Peptides
Amlexanox/TTA has been used to improve insulin sensitivity, reduce HbA1c, and aid in weight loss. TTA (Tetradecylthioacetic Acid) is a fatty acid that regulates fat storage by influencing the genes that control fat metabolism. Amlexanox inhibits inflammatory kinases IKK3 and TBKI, which are elevated in obesity. The combination is thought to reduce weight and insulin resistance, and influence fat metabolism & storage and energy expenditure. One of the reasons that diets are ineffective for some people is that their bodies adjust to reduced calories by reducing their metabolism (so that they are “defending their body weight”). These targeted peptides aim to “rev up” metabolism and improve energy expenditure. This peptide does not work for everyone, some will respond, but others will not.
