Peptide Therapy

Neurogenic / Neurorestorative

Semax

Semax is a synthetic analog of ACTH, adrenocorticotropic hormone.  ACTH is released from the pituitary to regulate levels of the steroid hormone cortisol.  Semax elevates the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and activates the serotonin and dopamine systems in the brain.  Semax has a wide spectrum of actions and has been used for many conditions, but predominantly for its neuroprotective and neurorestorative effects in stroke, transient ischemic attack (TIA), memory and cognitive decline.  As a nootropic, Semax may improve the processes associated with memory formation and learning.
