How does Acessa Uterine Fibroids Treatment work?

Depending on the patient’s age and history, we usually perform additional testing including pap smears, blood test, biopsy of the lining of the uterus and an ultrasound. Our physicians then discuss options for the treatments of uterine fibroids based on the findings and discuss the pros/cons , recovery and potential side effects of each option.
Step 2.
Schedule the Acessa® Ablation
If Acessa® is right for you, our surgery scheduler will contact your insurance company and determine your specific insurance benefits. Step 3.
Procedure Day
