Parasite Protocol Cleanse in Cincinnati, Ohio
About Our Parasite Protocol.
If you have unexplained IBS symptoms, chronic fatigue or intermittent or chronic sleep problems, there is a chance you are dealing with parasites. These symptoms can be a result of parasites releasing toxins into the bloodstream, as well as parasites consuming your food and robbing you of nutrients.
Are you one of the 50% of people who have a parasite and don’t know it?
Symptoms of Parasites
There are many different kinds of parasites, and they can cause a wide variety of problems. Most live in our intestines. Some common ones include roundworms, tapeworms, pinworms and hookworms. There are also types of single-celled parasites (protozoa). The symptoms for parasite infection can be varied and seemingly unrelated. They can also differ from person to person. If your immune system is functioning well, you are not as susceptible to a full blown parasite infection and may feel nothing, while another might have the same parasite and feel terrible.
Common symptoms and signs include:
- Bloating, constipation, upset stomach, gas, diarrhea
- Trouble falling asleep or staying asleep
- Chronic unexplained fatigue or exhaustion
- Iron-deficiency anemia
- Unexplained rash, hives, or eczema or other skin irritation
- Never feeling full or satisfied after your meals
- Grinding your teeth in your sleep
- History of food poisoning
Parasite infections are a very common occurrence that often get overlooked when diagnosing and treating a person with common health complaints. It was traditionally thought that you can catch parasites only while traveling in developing or third world countries, but this is not true. If you do experience “traveler’s diarrhea” or another sickness during or after international travel, there is a good chance you have a parasite. But most of us will get parasites from more benign places right here in the U.S.
You can get parasites from:
- Eating under-cooked meats, and any pork
- Unclean or contaminated produce
- Lakes, streams, rivers
- Walking barefoot in dirt where animals have defecated
- From close contact with animals, even pets
Process & Results
First, we recommend a consultation with our Wellness Coach. During this 50 minute visit, our Wellness Coach will review your complete medical history, including diet and lifestyle, and gain a thorough understanding of symptoms you are struggling with and the treatments you have tried.
If appropriate, Comprehensive Stool Testing can be preformed to aid in the diagnosis of parasites and uncovered imbalances in your gut microbiome (the “good bacteria” of the gut).
We treat with a combination of diet and supplementation with specific herbs and holistic methods known to kill parasites. The protocol is relatively easy to follow and very effective. We also give you a probiotic to balance gut bacteria during the process.
