Peptide Therapy in Cincinnati, Ohio

Targeted Wellness Treatments

Peptide therapy is a way to reduce the symptoms for a wide variety of conditions.  The use of specific peptides in treatment, has gained great popularity in recent years, due largely to the fact that peptides are highly specific (i.e., only do what you want them to do) while also being well-tolerated and safe.

They can be used as a stand-alone treatment; however, peptides work best when multiple peptides are used as part of an overall treatment plan encompassing hormone optimization, gut health, stress response/cortisol, exercise and diet.

Our providers can work with you on a comprehensive treatment plan to optimize your body composition, sexual health, overall well-being and beyond.

What is Peptide Therapy?

A peptide is a short chain of amino acids that are linked together and can be thought of as a small protein. To date, over 7,000 naturally-occurring peptides have been identified.

In our bodies, these small proteins typically act as signaling molecules. They bind to receptors on the cell surface and tell other cells and molecules what to do.

Most of these peptide drugs are administered via subcutaneous injections, but can also come in the form of transdermal creams, nasal sprays, and oral tablets.

Would you benefit from Peptide Therapy?

Peptide therapy encompasses numerous different drugs with varied effects, ranging from immune support and tissue repair to fat loss and muscle building. The therapeutic benefits of peptides will depend on the protocol you follow and the goals you wish to achieve. Peptide protocol and combinations are individualized to each person.

MOTs-C Peptide

MOTs-C is like exercise for your cells!

MOTs-C is a peptide that comprises 16 amino acids that are expressed by mitochondrial genes.  Research shows that mitochondria play a key role in signaling pathways in energy production and expression of metabolic flexibility.  Metabolic flexibility is when metabolism can efficiently switch its demand or supply as needed, which is important during periods of food excess or deficiency, as well as periods of rest or increased activity.  MOTs-C Peptide Therapy helps to correct the function of mitochondria, which in turn corrects metabolism.  Exercise increases Mots-C level, so this therapy replicates many of the benefits of exercise. This peptide is consistently used by athletes to enhance their performance. It also displays promise to affect longevity, in fact Japanese people (who have the longest lifespan in the world) have shown a phenotypic expression and biological link between MOTs-C and an extended lifespan.

Potential Benefits:
