A study published by the CDC of nearly 400,000 U.S. adults found that only 6% engage in all five of these basic health behaviors, despite knowing how important they are for our health and wellness.

Traditional medicine has taught us to take pills to treat problems. If you develop a side effect from one medication, take another. Functional Medicine focuses on treating the whole individual through proactive lifestyle changes and, most importantly, a shift in mindset to create new healthy habits. Information is not enough to change behavior. Without a support system, most of us will not succeed in shifting our mindset or changing our trajectory towards health and wellness.

Our Wellness Coach

Health/Wellness Coaches are knowledgeable advisers who provide ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness. As your Wellness Coach in Cincinnati, we will listen carefully and help you to navigate the world of contradictory nutrition advice to determine what changes are necessary for you.

With resources at your fingertips including macro counting, diet plans, direct messaging and videos, we provide the tools to help you build healthy habits for life. Throughout your program your wellness coach will use your progress to help make impactful changes to your plan.

After establishing your care with us, your wellness coach will track your progress with you through virtual appointments. Giving you the flexibility and convenience of having your appointments anywhere.

Process & Results

Wellness Coaching

Step 1.

Establishing Care

If you are a new patient to our medical or wellness side of our practice, you will come in to the office to establish care. At this consultation we take a full medical history, including conditions you are currently being treated for and medications you are taking. This will help rule out any contraindications.

Step 2.

Initial Consult with Coach

After establishing your care with us (if already established, you will be able to start your process here) you will have a virtual consult with your coach. During this consultation you will talk through your goals to help determine the best program for you.

Step 3.

Informative Resources & Ancillary Testing

We provide you with the resources and recipes that will increase your nutrition knowledge. We offer several unique programs that are customized to your needs for both wellness and specifically for weight loss. We provide education and targeted solutions to address the connection between our gut health, our immune system and our risk for developing chronic diseases. We focus on natural solutions to lower inflammation and improve immune function, both for acute and chronic illness. We will utilize ancillary testing to uncover potential imbalances and deficiencies, as outlined below.
