Many conditions can affect sexual pleasure.
And not everyone experiences the same severity or combination of symptoms. Everyone’s body, lifestyle, and genetics are unique, and it’s important to understand how different conditions can affect your sex life.
Women
LSD
Low sex drive
Sex drive, also known as libido, is the feeling of sexual desire. This may affect your relationships and of course, it affects your own ability to enjoy sex regularly. It’s normal for this feeling to ebb and flow, but some women may experience extended periods of time feeling little to no desire.
VD
Vaginal dryness
Hormone levels, age, health events, and even medication can all impact vaginal lubrication, making sex uncomfortable. There are many causes of vaginal dryness (also known as vulvar dryness), and women of all ages may experience it.
VL
Vaginal laxity
Pregnancy, giving birth, and general aging can all create laxity in this area. Skin laxity, or stretched skin, is a totally normal condition as your skin works hard to accommodate changes in your body or loses collagen as you age.
PDI
Pain during intercourse
Pain during intercourse is a broad condition that is best treated by finding the root cause. Are you experiencing dryness? Having trouble getting and staying aroused? We’ll work with you to help find the source of pain and recommend treatments.
DRO
Difficulty reaching orgasm
Both physical and psychological factors can impact your ability to have an orgasm on a regular basis. A qualified medical provider can offer several options to improve blood flow, sensitivity, and more to help you reach that O.
UI
Urinary incontinence
Dealing with bladder control issues can be an annoyance when it comes to sex and other parts of life. Stress incontinence, urge incontinence, and other pelvic floor issues are prevalent in many women, especially those who’ve had children.
Men
ED
Erectile dysfunction
Also known as ED or sexual impotence, erectile dysfunction is the difficulty of obtaining and/or maintaining an erection. This is most common as men age and blood flow decreases, but any man can develop ED and certain health factors may contribute to it.
PD
Peyronie's disease
Peyronie’s disease may sometimes get confused with erectile dysfunction, but this condition primarily affects the penis by causing a bend or curve. Although it is more common in older men, this condition can be found in men as young as their 20s and 30s.
LSD
Low sex drive
A low sex drive can impact relationships and negatively affect your wellbeing. Improving a low libido through treatments can improve your satisfaction.
DRO
Difficulty reaching orgasm
For men, ejaculation disorders or difficulty reaching orgasm can inhibit their sex life. Reoccurring premature ejaculation can affect men’s confidence and enjoyment.

Consultation
Before any treatment, we always meet with you for a private, in-depth consultation to discuss ways we can help you have more pleasurable sex. You’ll meet with one of our sexual wellness providers to discuss your symptoms, goals with treatments, and other relevant background information, such as your medical history.
If necessary, your provider may recommend testing to get to the root cause of a symptom. After learning all about you and your desired results, we’ll design a customized treatment plan tailored to you. We never take a one-size-fits-all approach, and this is especially important when it comes to your sexual health and function.
Treatments
How many treatment sessions you’ll need depends on your specific treatment plan. We’ll map out how far to space out treatments as needed and schedule your appointments to fit your schedule. As always, our team makes the treatment environment and process as comfortable as possible so you’re at ease during every visit.
Results
Some treatments create immediate results for patients, while others are progressive and take time and/or multiple treatment sessions for full results. We’ll check in with you regularly to monitor your progress and ensure the best outcomes possible. Some treatments may require additional maintenance treatments for maximum benefits.
Maintaining sexual pleasure for the long term
