How does Dysport® work?
Dysport works like other neuromodulators in that it temporarily prevents contraction of the muscles. This in turn helps the muscle to relax creating a smoother-younger looking appearance. As Dysport treatment wears off over time, maintenance treatments are needed.

Step 1.
The Consultation
During your consultation, we will explain to you how Dysport works, how long Dysport lasts, what to expect with the treatment and any potential side effects. Our physicians will ask you to make a variety of facial movements, like squinting, scowling, raising your eyebrows, and smiling, to determine a customized dose based on your areas of concern, the strength of your muscles, and your desired results.
Everyone is different. First, we will create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific goals and the size, shape and strength of your facial muscles.
Step 2.
Inject
After the areas are determined and properly cleansed, one of our providers will inject Dysport into the predetermined areas. Dysport Injections in Cincinnati are low maintenance but there are a few things to keep in mind. On the day of your injections, we request that you do not apply direct pressure, lie down, or exercise during the first 4 hours after your treatment. After that, you may do anything you please!
Step 3.
You're Ready to Go!
Patients may begin to notice results within 48- 72 hours of the injection; however, it takes 7 to 14 days to see the full effect of Dysport in Cincinnati. We highly recommend a follow up visit 2 weeks after your injection to ensure you love your results! Results typically last 3-4 months.
